I’ve been in a really crafty mood lately which is good for my house decor, bad for my craft room cleanliness. We love Valentines around here and really enjoyed our traditional PF Changs Dinner. I only wish there had been leftovers! So here’s a look at what I’ve been up to to make our home just a little more lovely!
I thought this would be a sweet little one night project. 70 flowers and a week later it was finally finished and I’m in LOVE!
Saw this next idea on a blog and again I’m in love. It will be staying up in our home for at least a few more weeks! To add to the cuteness I used a book that was all about teaching with love, so I highlighted the word love in hot pink all over the pages. This picture does not do my hot pink, glittery heart justice!
My baking and our kitchen have even been all about the season. Have I mentioned I’m loving me some big fat rick rack, it is awesome! I added it to this table runner.
My little friend the Cricut even got to join in the fun.
I got this amazing sugar cookie recipe from my friend, Camille. So delicious! Seriously, you would be shocked if I told you how many of those cookies I ate all by myself! You can find it and other fabulous ideas for crafting, cooking and just plain cuteness at her blog: russandcamille.blogspot.com
I big fat fluffy heart Valentines! I’m sad it’s over and I’m pretty sure our decorations are going to stick around a little longer.
P.S. I have ventured into Manual mode on my camera and I think I’m starting to like it. All these pictures were taken without the blessed help of the automatic function. Please don’t judge, I’m still learning!
